KALTARA - The Tarakan Customs and Excise Service Supervision Office (KPPBC) thwarted efforts to circulate thousands of illegal cosmetics from the Philippines and Malaysia.

A total of 400 illegal cosmetic products from the Philippines were secured from PJT TIKI Tarakan. Meanwhile, 5,168 products and 30 sets of illegal cosmetics of various types and brands were secured from PT. Pos Indonesia Tarakan

"This illegal cosmetic will be sent to various cities in Kalimantan, Sulawesi, Java and Sumatra with the mode of goods sent through Jasa Titipan (PJT) and PT. Pos Indonesia," said Head of KPPBC Tarakan, Minhajuddin Napsah in Tarakan, North Kalimantan (Kaltara), Wednesday 12 October.

Pos Indonesia Tarakan, the team found 149 packages of goods sent in the amount of 5,168 products and 30 sets of illegal cosmetics of various types and brands with a total weight of 323.31 kilograms from the Philippines and Malaysia. It is estimated that the total item is worth approximately Rp. 200 million.
