"We have sent a health team to Setbot Village to conduct health checks on residents who complain of illness after five hotspots appeared simultaneously in the village," he told Antara in Kupang, East Nusa Tenggara, Wednesday, October 12. Regent Epy Tahun said this was related to complaints from residents of Setbot Village who claimed to have a headache and were dizzy by inhaling smoke suspected of odors of sulfur coming out of the cliffs of Mount Naimitis. The medical team that was dispatched to Setbot Village also brought medicine, treating residents who were suffering from illness after the emergence of five hotspots three weeks ago. He explained that the presence of the medical team to Setbot Village was also to find out exactly whether the pain suffered by the residents was the side of the emergence of five hotspots or not. "We want to know if there are also residents who, apart from experiencing headaches and dizziness, are there also those who suffer from skin irritation so that they can be known with certainty. If there is, of course, the medical team will immediately treat it," he said.
