A crocodile wearing a tire appeared on Bridge II, Jalan I Gusti Ngurah Rai, South Palu. There was a mother who was near a crocodile wearing a tire.

"The river water is now coming down so he is there (around the riverbank). I don't know why the mother was near the crocodile, but people and sand miners usually watched the river around the river, ”continued Rino.

Efforts to remove tires from large crocodiles in Palu have been repeatedly carried out. However, these efforts have not succeeded in freeing the crocodile from the tire necklace.

"Efforts are still being made but now they have been temporarily suspended due to the pandemic," said Rino.

This crocodile was caught in a tire in 2016. This crocodile often 'sunbathers' around the Palu river and becomes a spectacle for residents.
