The motive for the murder of the perpetrators was based on several factors. First, the work problems promised by the victim so far are not clear. Second, the perpetrators who often visit the victim's residence also feel often bullied. Third, namely the problem of two cellular phones belonging to the perpetrator who were pawned until then it was not clear when it would be returned to the perpetrators. "The motive for this murder case is revenge. The victim, who has known since 2016, has often been bullied and said she felt like she was hurt and committed this act," he said. Before the incident on September 23, 2022, the victim and the perpetrator met at the victim's residence on Jalan Cambodia. The suspect was revenge, so finally the intention arose to kill the victim, but lack confidence. Finally, to dare to kill the victim, the perpetrator bought ten pills of cough medicine and mixed with alcohol and energy drinks. That's when with his confidence, the suspect from the residence of one of his family who was on Jalan Stroberi planned to kill the victim. With a machete, the suspect who came using his motorbike went straight into the victim's house through the back door of the house. "At that time, the perpetrator took off his clothes and killed the victim using a machete. The first one who was stabbed indiscriminately was Ahmad Yendi in his bedroom. Second, then his wife Fatnawati," he said. After killing the two victims, the eyewitnesses, aka the victim's child who was inside the house, saw the incident immediately fled through the back door of the house, to save himself from being chased by the perpetrator. That same night because the suspect could not chase the victim's child, the perpetrator rushed to wear his clothes which he initially removed and fled from the scene. "That night, the sharp weapon used to kill the two victims was immediately taken by the perpetrator and dumped in a pangaringan (park) located in the Jalan Seth Adji area," he said.
