BATURAJA - PDAM Tirta Raja, Ogan Komering Ulu (OKU) Regency, South Sumatra, deployed dozens of officers to repair the main pipe in the leaked Water Processing Installation (IPA) of the Batukuning Unit. This vehicle is so that the distribution of clean water flowing into customer pipes can be smooth again. "Until today, our officers continue to make repairs in the field considering the pipe leak is quite severe," said Head of Public Relations Subsidy and Hubal Elfanko in Baturaja, Antara, Sunday, October 9. He explained that the leak in the main pipe that occurred three days ago was due to the age factor in the flexible influence rubber so that it was worthy of a new replacement. This has an impact on the distribution of clean water for customers to experience total disturbances, especially in parts of West Baturaja District until the repair process is completed by officers in the field. "Officers in the field are still struggling to change the leaking pipe. During the process of repairing the water supply, it had to be temporarily stopped," he said. The areas affected by the disturbance are some customers in Baturaja Barat District, including Talang Kibang Housing, Perum Baturaja Resident and the Batukuning area. "The repair process is predicted to last for the next two days," he said. During that time, he appealed to all customers, especially in areas affected by disturbances, to save on the use of clean water for their daily needs. "For this inconvenience, we apologize and we are trying to repair it as soon as possible so that the water supply returns smoothly," he said.
