TGIPF Starts The Sustainable Report On The Tragedy Of The Front Week Jakarta Stadium

JAKARTA - Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs (Menko Polhukam) Mahfud MD said the Independent Joint Fact Finding Team (TGIPF) of the Kanjuruhan Tragedy is still working. The plan is that next week reports related to the events that killed 131 Arema FC or Aremania supporters will be submitted.

"Starting Wednesday and Thursday, we will concentrate on compiling the report. So it is hoped that it will be completed next week," Mahfud told reporters at the Coordinating Ministry for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Office, Central Jakarta, Friday, October 7.

In addition, TGIPF plans to invite resource persons on Tuesday next week. Mahfud said this step was to make light of the tragedy that occurred on Saturday, October 1.

Furthermore, Mahfud said that TGIPF is currently focusing on a number of things. One of them, meets resource persons to look for physical evidence.

It is this information and evidence that will later be written in the report. Mahfud said the team is currently spreading to a number of areas, including Malang, East Java.

"Today, TGIPF is spreading to the field in Jakarta, Surabaya, Malang to meet resource persons and see physical evidence, as well as looking for physical evidence that can be brought," said the TGIPF chairman.

Previously, President Joko Widodo had ordered the TGIPF Tragedy Kanjuruhan to complete his duties in less than a month. This team was formed based on a Presidential Decree (Keppres) on Monday, October 3.

TGIPF members consist of various elements such as activists, journalists, to former high-ranking officials at the Attorney General's Office and the National Disaster Management Agency.
