JAKARTA - The 2024 presidential candidate (Readpres) of the NasDem Party, Anies Baswedan, will continue his political safari to the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) after visiting the Democratic Party today. "We are all in a conversation, what has been done by the NasDem Party, now we are running with friends in the Democratic Party. God willing, the conversation will also expand with PKS," Anies said at a press conference at the DPP Office of the Democratic Party, Menteng, Jakarta, Friday, October 7th. However, Anies did not mention when his visit to PKS would be carried out. The governor of DKI Jakarta only said that the friendship with PKS was his responsibility to expand communication to build Indonesia in the future. "God willing, we will build a new flow within, we will build a better Indonesia. This conversation is all part of our responsibility. We have the same responsibility to make Indonesia better," said Anies. "What is certain is that we all want to carry out this mandate regardless of the mandate that is carried out as well as possible," he added. According to Anies, today's visit to the Democratic Party is a very impressive new beginning. Anies assessed that the meeting with the General Chair of the Democratic Party, Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) and his management will strengthen their relations. "Strengthening our friendship, our joint commitment, strengthening our efforts to jointly make our Indonesia better," said Anies. Anies also gave a signal to be ready to walk with AHY. According to Anies, AHY continued the tradition built by the 6th President of the Republic of Indonesia Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) to continue to maintain democracy and enforce institutions.
