BENGKULU - The Bengkulu National Search and Rescue Agency (Basarnas) dispatched a team to strengthen the search for two missing people in the forest of Sebelat Ulu Village, Lebong Regency, Bengkulu Province. "On Thursday (October 6) morning we sent a team to search for people in the forest in Lebong Regency," said Head of Bengkulu Basarnas M. Arafah in Bengkulu City, quoted from Antara, Thursday, October 6. Based on information from the Lebong Regency Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD), the two people with the initials Y (30) and G (30), went to the forest to mine gold on Wednesday, September 14.

He added that the scene of the disappearance of the two victims was in Tebo Blau Village, Lebong Regency. However, until now, the two residents have not returned home so BPBD and Village Head Ketenong contacted Basarnas to help carry out the search.

During the search process, his party was assisted by BPBD, the Lebong District Police and the local community to search for victims. "We dispatched a rescue team of eight people to help carry out the search," he said. In addition to deploying a search team, his party has also deployed several tools to assist in searching such as one D-max unit, one truck rescue unit, one palgle set, one set of Mountencing equipment, navigation, communication and medical. Currently, the weather conditions in the field are cloudy and have the potential for rain accompanied by strong winds. "Because currently the wind speed is around five knots," said Arafah.
