JAKARTA - The existence of the High Priest of the Islamic Defenders Front (FPI) Rizieq Shihab is still 'classified'. Rizieq's whereabouts have not been known since leaving the UMMI Bogor Hospital.

FPI's lawyer, Aziz Yanuar, was also unable to convey Rizieq's whereabouts. The reason is that it is Rizieq Shihab's personal right.

"I am resting and apologize for his place, because I cannot reveal his privacy," Aziz told reporters, Tuesday, December 1.

Aziz also did not mention the existence of Rizieq Shihab when explaining the reasons for his absence from the investigation at Polda Metro Jaya. Aziz said that Rizieq was not present because he was still tired.

"But he is currently resting," he said

Previously, another FPI lawyer, Ichwan Tuankotta, said that Rizieq Shihab was at his home in the Sentul area, Bogor. There Rizieq visited his beloved grandchildren.

"So it's not Habib Rizieq's house in Sentul, but the house of his daughter Habib Rizieq and he visits his grandson here," he said.

Rizieq Shihab was previously treated for several days at the UMMI Hospital, Bogor. But soon it was reported that Rizieq had fled the hospital.

Rizieq allegedly walked out of the back door of the hospital. Rizieq's departure, which was allegedly carried out in secret, was also unknown to the COVID-19 Handling Task Force.
