MALANG - President Jokowi not only visited victims of the Kanjuruhan tragedy. However, Jokowi even went directly to the Kanjuruhan Stadium in Malang Regency

There, Jokowi wanted to know in detail the field conditions. After the Arema FC match against Persebaya Surabaya, there was a riot that resulted in more than 125 lives being lost.

After walking around, Jokowi found an idea of a locked door and a ladder that was too sharp. However, other findings, said Jokowi, let the Joint Fact Finding Team see in detail.

"I saw earlier, there was a locked door and the stairs were too sharp, plus the panic. But I only saw the field, later everything will be concluded by the independent team, fact-finding, once again, the most important thing is that the entire stadium building will be audited by the Public Works Ministry," explained the President at the Kanjuruhan Stadium, Wednesday, October 5.

Jokowi has indeed issued an order to the Ministry of PUPR to audit stadium buildings used in leagues 1, 2 and 3. Jokowi's order refers to all stadiums.

Jokowi asked the ministry to immediately repair the doors, gates, and the position of the fence to ensure the safety of the audience. President Jokowi also gave the PUPR Ministry 1 month to audit the stadium.

"The stadium audit is also the same, 1 month because if we look at GBK with 80 thousand spectators, the door is opened in 15 minutes, everything can come out. I think we have to have those standards," added the President as quoted by Antara.
