FPI Lawyer Affirms No Pick-Up Of Rizieq Shihab In Sentul

JAKARTA - The Islamic Defenders Front (FPI) legal team denied reports that Rizieq Shihab was picked up by the COVID-19 Task Force team in the Sentul area, Bogor on Monday, November 30. No Task Force team came.

"Until last night I (at) half past 11 arrived in the Sentul neighborhood, and no COVID-19 Task Force arrived," said FPI lawyer team Ichwan Tuankotta to reporters, Tuesday, November 1.

Ichwan said the FPI Grand Priest was in the Sentul area. She came with her family to her daughter's house with the aim of visiting her grandson.

"So it is not Habib Rizieq's house in Sentul, but the house of his daughter Habib Rizieq and he is visiting his grandson here," he said.

In addition, the crowd that occurred there was a demonstration by a group of masses who rejected Rizieq Shihab's existence. So that there was a little debate.

"There are demonstrators who don't know where they come from, claiming to be residents here but we ask that we don't have ID cards here, then there are policies, that's all," he said.

Previously, news circulated stating that Rizieq Shihab was picked up by the COVID-19 Task Force in Sentul, West Java. Then, a group of people was seen staging a demonstration against Rizieq Shihab. They carried banners that read 'Adili Rizieq !!! Do not run away!!.
