JAKARTA - The Directorate General of Immigration of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights has prevented former member of the Indonesian House of Representatives, Chandra Tirta Wijaya. "The person concerned (Chandra) is active in the prevention list," said the Public Relations Sub-Coordinator of the Directorate General of Immigration Achmad Nur Saleh to reporters, Tuesday, October 4.
Chandra was prevented for six months, starting from August 25, 2022 to February 25, 2023. Achmad said the prevention was based on a request from the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK).
"Proposed by the KPK with corruption cases," he said.
