JAKARTA - Half of DKI City Halls are closed or locked down due to DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan and DKI Jakarta Deputy Governor Ahmad Riza Patria confirmed positive for COVID-19.
The building that is being locked is Anies and Riza's work space, as well as a number of other rooms in the vicinity. Meanwhile, Anies' office, which is on the left side in front of City Hall, is closed from today to Thursday, December 3.
Then, the Blok B building which is on the back side of Anies' office has been locked down from Monday, November 30 to Wednesday, December 2, as a result of Riza's positive COVID-19 results.
The closed rooms in Block B are Riza and TGUPP DKI workspace on the 2nd floor, Jakarta Smart City on the 3rd floor, and the adjutant room and the health clinic room on the PPKP 1 floor.
"According to protocol, the Governor's office unit will be closed. Like the Deputy Governor's office in Block B, it has been closed," Anies said in his statement, Tuesday, December 1.
Meanwhile, half of the other buildings in City Hall, namely the Blok G Building as the main building, are still operating because there are no COVID-19 cases. The building on the right side contains the DKI Pemprov's civil servants.
"The offices of the Governor and Deputy Governor are separate from the main City Hall building. Therefore, the main building continues to operate with strict protocols so that the government runs well," Anies explained.
As is known, Anies Baswedan was confirmed positive for COVID-19. This result follows the Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta Ahmad Riza Patria, who previously tested positive since last Friday, November 27.
Anies tested positive for COVID-19 based on the results of the PCR swab test that came out early Tuesday. On Monday afternoon, November 30, Anies had indeed carried out a PCR swab test at the DKI Jakarta City Hall.
Anies said that he is currently in good condition and is in the category of people without symptoms (OTG). Now, he is undergoing self-isolation and following treatment procedures set by the medical team.
"I will do independent isolation in a separate place from my family and live alone. Meanwhile, my family will remain in a private residence," said Anies.
