SEMARANG - Police arrested a man who stole from a cafe in the Tembalang area, Semarang City, Central Java. In the action, the perpetrator wore a negligee. "The perpetrator used a negligee to trick CCTV cameras at the crime scene," said Semarang Deputy Chief of Police AKBP Yuswanto Ardi in Semarang, Antara, Monday, October 3. According to him, the suspect IAD (29), a resident of Secang, Magelang Regency, Central Java, is a former cafe employee he was targeting. The action of the perpetrator who deposited by wearing a negligee was caught on CCTV which could then be identified based on the information of the cafe employees. "This perpetrator already knew that CCTV would be monitored during the action," he said. During the action, he continued, the perpetrator entered the cafe cashier's place and took a safe containing Rp5 million in cash. As for the negligee used during the action, he continued, the perpetrators were taken from the drying area belonging to his neighbors. For his actions, the perpetrator was charged with Article 363 of the Criminal Code regarding theft.
