Today, Commission III Of The House Of Representatives Holds Fit And Proper Test 14 Candidates For Komnas HAM Members

JAKARTA - Commission III of the DPR RI held a fit and proper test of 14 candidates for the National Human Rights Commission (Komnas HAM) for the 2022-2027 period.

The fit and proper test will take place in the meeting room of Commission III of the DPR, Parliament Complex Senayan, Jakarta, Friday, September 30. The Fitand proper test is scheduled to start at 09.00 WIB.

Member of Commission III of the DPR Habiburokhman hopes that the decision will be made immediately today. Because, according to him, the formation of the selection committee (pansel) and the selection process for candidates for members of Komnas HAM are too late.

"I will propose that today it will also be decided immediately. Because the formation of the Pansel and the selection process is actually too late," Habiburokhman told reporters, Friday, September 30.

In addition, Habiburokhman continued, the closing of the DPR trial period will also be held on Tuesday, September 4, next week. So according to him, there should be no vacancy in the position of commissioner of Komnas HAM.

"Next Tuesday, the trial period is closed, so the time is very tight. Don't let there be a vacancy for the commissioner of the National Human Rights Commission, it could be dangerous," said the Gerindra legislator.
