After Meeting Elite Golkar, Ridwan Kamil Make Sure To Join The Maximum 2022 Political Parties

JAKARTA - The Governor of West Java (Jabar) Ridwan Kamil has decided to join a political party (political party). The former mayor of Bandung will announce it at the end of 2022.

"Until now, so many dynamics have occurred in national politics ahead of 2024. Yes, it will be notified later. (The announcement of his choice of political parties) is still this year," said the man who is familiarly called Kang Emil in Bandung, West Java, Thursday, September 29.

He said that on the evening of Wednesday, September 28, he had met with the Member of the Presidential Advisory Council (Wantimpres) Agung Laksono.

However, Ridwan Kamil emphasized that Agung Laksono whom he met that night did not position himself as an elite of the Golkar Party but a member of Wantimpres.

"Last night I met Wantimpres more precisely so I received advice to focus on achieving development. If his political career will adjust to the achievements displayed," he said, quoted by Antara.

Previously, Wantimpres member Agung Laksono gave a number of advice to Ridwan Kamil to continue serving the people of West Java.

"So in a meeting between Mr. Agung Laksono and Ridwan Kamil last night in Bandung, Mr. Agung gave advice to Ridwan Kamil to continue working for the people of West Java," said Chairman of the Collective Regional Leadership (PDK) Kosgoro 1957 West Java Aria Girinaya to reporters in Bandung, Thursday 29 September.
