Don't Be Surprised If Anies Baswedan Will Continue To Show Off His Work Before Lengser

JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan admitted that he would showcase his work achievements while leading DKI for the last five years. This will be conveyed before his term of office ends on October 16.

Anies claimed that he had issued many programs and policies during his tenure.

"About what has been (worked), it's a very long volume that has been done. Later (the explanation) will be sent, God willing, before it is completed, October 16, there will be a package that has been carried out," said Anies in the South Jakarta area, Wednesday, September 28.

During his five years in office, Anies claimed that he had continued the work of the previous Jakarta leader. This needs to be done by Anies' successor.

The former Minister of Education and Culture emphasized that local government work will continue even though regional heads change from one to another.

"So all of that is done as part of a sustainability. There is something new, there is something that continues and it will become a program for the community where the next officials can carry out assessments and make statements," he explained.

Previously, Anies had revealed that his before term of office ended as Governor of DKI Jakarta on October 16 was a harvest period. This means that about one month before his term as DKI 1 ended, Anies often launched programs that he had planned during his tenure.

One example is that Anies will inaugurate the Jakarta International Climbing Wall Park in the Cakung area, East Jakarta. This 7,998 square meter rock climbing sport has been built since 2019.

"This is an existing facility now, a new facility. The facilities that were said earlier, according to friends from the rock climbing federation, are the best in Indonesia. That's why I said, this is the harvest period, here, one by one. Right? Panen, right," said Anies at DKI Jakarta City Hall, Monday, September 19.
