More Than 700 People in Ternate North Maluku Will Receive Direct Assistance From President Jokowi

TERNATE - The City Government of Ternate, North Maluku stated that more than 700 people who will receive assistance from President Joko Widodo through direct assistance will be centered in two places in Ternate City.

The Mayor of Ternate, M. Tauhid Soleman, said there were more than 700 recipients of assistance from the president and there were approximately 30 direct beneficiaries.

President Jokowi will visit Ternate on Tuesday and Wednesday tomorrow. He said the President's agenda when he was in Ternate City would be to look at the process of distributing aid at the Job Training Center (BLK) in Bastiong Village and reviewing and handing over aid at the Berkesan Marine Hygienic market location, Gamalama Village.

"The President's visit to Ternate City is a national agenda which is to look closely at the economic conditions in Ternate City and the President will see firsthand how the availability of basic needs stocks, as well as the affordability of prices from the economic situation in Ternate City", he explained as reported by Antara, Tuesday, September 27.

Meanwhile, the Ternate City Social Service guarantees that the process of distributing Direct Cash Assistance (BLT) for Fuel Oil (BBM) to all recipients is right on target.

Head of the Handling of the Poor, Ternate City Social Service, Muhammad Irvan Gaus stated, for the distribution of BLT BBM for 3,691 Heads of Families (KK) through Post Offices worth IDR 1.8 billion which is centralized in all local District Offices and carries out various regulated mechanisms.

According to Irvan, the distribution of Direct Cash Assistance (BLT) for Fuel Oil (BBM) is given to Recipients of Families of Hope and recipients of the first phase of the basic food program worth IDR 500 thousand per family with details of BLT BBM worth IDR 300 thousand Non-Cash Food Assistance worth IDR 200 thousand for September to October 2022, meanwhile, recipients of BLT BBM stage II for November and December 2022 will be paid in December 2022 through Post Office officers.
