Jepara Police Express 40 Curanmor Cases Over 20 Days, General Actors Unemployment

Central Java - Jepara Police revealed 40 cases of motor vehicle theft with 11 suspects being arrested. Disclosure of cases during Operation Brush Jaran Candi 2022.

He revealed that Operation Brush Jaran Candi 2022 will be held for 20 days starting from August 25 to September 13, 2022.

The perpetrators of the robbery who were arrested, he said, on average, were unemployed or did not have a permanent job.

"We noted that there were 25 crime scenes (TKP) out of 40 cases that were revealed," he said.

Because the perpetrators are dominated by unemployment, the stolen money is used to meet the needs of life and other personal interests.

To avoid this case, the Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Jepara Police, AKP M. Fachrur Rozi, appealed to the public to remain vigilant and always use double locks to avoid theft.

The perpetrators of the vehicle theft will be charged with Article 363 of the Criminal Code with a maximum penalty of nine years in prison.
