Puan-Cak Imin's Duet Response, Prabowo Uploaded A Created Agreement

JAKARTA - Chairman of the Gerindra Party Prabowo Subianto, responded to the discourse of the duet of PDIP DPP Chair Puan Maharani with PKB Chairman Muhaimin Iskandar (Cak Imin) after the two met. For Prabowo, it is Cak Imin's right if he wants to be the vice president of Puan.

Initially, Prabowo welcomed the meeting of Puan and Cak Imin at the Kalibata Heroes Cemetery (TMP), Jakarta, Sunday, September 25, morning.

"Good, good," said Prabowo after a meeting at Commission I of the DPR, Senayan, Jakarta, Monday, September 26. However, regarding Cak Imin's discourse to become the vice president of Puan Maharani, Prabowo considered it to be Cak Imin's right. The Minister of Defense then mentioned the existence of a coalition agreement that had been built by Gerindra and PKB.

"Yes, that's his right. But we already have an agreement. Ha ha ha," said Prabowo.

Nevertheless, Prabowo said political dynamics were still ongoing. Until now, he admits that he is still in communication with Cak Imin.

"This is a development that continues, we will follow it. We will continue to discuss with him," he said.

Previously, the Chairman of PKB Muhaimin Iskandar or Cak Imin explained that he needed to first ask the Head of Gerindra Prabowo Subianto about the opportunity for a duet between the Chairperson of the PDIP DPP Puan Maharani and himself as a presidential and vice presidential candidate in the upcoming 2024 election.

The explanation began when Puan, who was present with Cak Imin at the Kalibata Heroes Cemetery (TMP) area, Jakarta, prayed for the Deputy Speaker of the DPR to become vice president. Cak Imin then prayed for Puan to become president. However, when asked about the opportunity to become vice president, Cak Imin was reluctant to respond much.

"Yes, I'll ask Pak Prabowo first," joked Cak Imin, who was greeted by laughter from the PDIP and PKB groups in the Kalibata TMP area, Jakarta, Sunday, September 25.

Cak Imin also emphasized that the journey to the 2024 General Election is still long. Thus, it can be tested what an ideal candidate will be.

"There is still a long way to go. Prabowo-Cak Imin, Puan-Muhaimin will be tested later," said Cak Imin.
