JAKARTA - Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta Ahmad Riza Patria appealed to Muslims as majority in Indonesia not to be easily provoked if they encounter a problem. "Muslims as the majority should not be easily provoked. We must be cool, give in, and want to compromise," said Riza when opening the Regional Deliberation of the Indonesian Muslim Consultative Association (Musda ICMI) DKI Jakarta, at the South Jakarta Mayor's Office, Antara, Sunday, September 25. According to Riza, Muslims are the majority in the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI) with a total of 88.8 percent compared to other people. Therefore, the Chairman of the Central Executive Board (DPP) of the Gerindra Party invites Muslims to continue to make the best contribution to the nation and state. In addition, he also hopes that Muslims and the government must also be united, united, and solid so that they are not easily divided.
