PALANGKA RAYA - The murder of husband and wife shocked residents of Jalan Cambodia, Langkai Village, Pahandut District, Palangka Raya, Central Kalimantan. Currently, the Palangka Raya Police are investigating this case.

The murder case was reported to have occurred on Friday, September 23 night. The police have conducted a crime scene investigation to look for clues to the case so that it can be revealed.

From the results of the crime scene, the police secured a number of evidences in the victim's bedroom, while the sharp weapon belonging to the alleged perpetrator of the couple's murder was brought by the perpetrator.

Palangka Raya Police Chief Kombes Pol Budi Santoso said his party was continuing to investigate who the perpetrators were from the murder.

"In addition to conducting an investigation, we also asked for information from several witnesses, one of the victim's daughters who was at the scene at that time," said the Police Chief, as reported by Antara.

"The motive for this case is still unknown. While the victim's valuables in the house are not missing," he continued.

One of the victim's neighbors, Edi, did not know clearly about the incident. However, that night, the head of the local RT visited the scene because the victim's child asked for help, after his parents were stabbed by an unknown person.

According to his son, the perpetrator was tall and white. Before being found in such a condition, there were three sounds like firecrackers and I don't know what the sound really was," said Edi, who trades in a stall in front of his house on a daily basis.
