PAPUA - The Team of the Peace Enforcement Task Force Cartenz and the Mimika Police arrested the Chairman of the West Papua National Committee (KNPB) Timika with the initials YA in Timika, Mimika Regency, Papua. The arrest operation took place on Friday, September 23 at around 20.00 WIT. The Director General of the Papuan Police, Kombes Faizal Rahmadani, confirmed the arrest when it was confirmed. "It is true that the head of the Timika YA KNPB was arrested in connection with the alleged involvement of ammunition supply for the armed criminal group (KKB) and is currently being investigated by investigators at the Mimika Police in Timika," he said as quoted by Antara.
