JAKARTA - The Ministry of Religion stated that assistance for the working group (pokja) of madrasa teachers will be disbursed in October 2022. "The Director General of Islamic Education has signed the decision on the recipient of aid at the end of July for 2,095 workings in the first phase. The disbursement process is almost complete. God willing, in October 2022 it will be liquidated," said Director of Teachers and Education Personnel (GTK) Madrasah Muhammad Zain in Jakarta, Antara, Friday, September 23. Zain said there were two categories of beneficiaries. The Madrasah Teacher Work Group (KKG) will each receive assistance of Rp. 15 million. As for the Madrasa Teachers Association (MGMP), the assistance provided was Rp. 30 million. He asked that the aid funds be used according to the technical guidelines that have been set and for the sake of improving the competence of madrasa teachers, such as holding discussion forums, studies or testing theories to find solutions, and strengthening the power of innovation. "The discovery of educators in a discussion forum will certainly give birth to a lot of inspiration and encourage innovation," he said. Meanwhile, Deputy 3 Project Management Unit (PMU) MEQR-Project of the Ministry of Religion Anis Masykhur said the process of verifying the first phase of the proposal had been completed. The team has also started the process of verifying the second phase of aid proposals. "We hope that teachers have a high enthusiasm to form a Pokja and access this assistance for the next stage," he said. According to him, working assistance has been provided since 2021. For 2023, access to assistance will be designed based on competition and appreciation. "This year we are still opening the opportunity to submit proposals for phase III. We plan to open it in early October 2022. This stage is intended to provide opportunities for working people who have found it difficult to access it," he said.
