Kupang City Holds An Inter-Corruption Hygiene Competition

JAKARTA - Acting Mayor of Kupang, East Nusa Tenggara George Melkianus Hadjoh immediately held a cleaning competition between houses of worship.

"It is important to clean the house of worship in order to create a comfortable atmosphere when religious people come to worship," said George Melkianus Hadjoh, Thursday, September 22.

George Melkianus Hadjoh said the inauguration of the Kupang City FKUB management was a historic moment that showed diversity as a binding force and united the nation.

According to him, FKUB is part of the body of Kupang City which cannot be separated from the vision that is in line with the Kupang City Government.

He said the role of religious leaders was very strategic to build the way people think and the character of the hard work of their people.

George Melkianus Hadjoh added that FKUB administrators must move quickly, through collaborative work to support the Kupang City Government's efforts to create a clean and beautiful city in Kupang.

"Religious leaders play a role in forming human resources, building positive ways of thinking and thoughts that raise the spirit of the people to look to the future. In realizing this, it is necessary to hold a clean competition between houses of worship, so that all houses of worship become clean and people who come to worship feel comfortable," said George Melkius Hadjoh. quoted from Antara.

He hopes that religious leaders will continue to motivate the people to be more disciplined and work hard for better economic development.

Based on the decision of the Acting Mayor of Kupang No. 129/KEP/HK/2022 dated September 15, 2022, regarding the second amendment to the decision of the Mayor of Kupang No. 33/KEP/HK/2021 dated January 20, 2021 concerning the Religious Harmony Forum and the Advisory Council of the Kupang City Religious Harmony Forum for the period 2021-2025.

The Kupang City FKUB administrators consist of Rev. Jecky Latuperissa, M.Th as Chair, Rhe. Anderias Sika, Pr and H. Muhammad Abdurrahman as Vice Chairman, Rev. Yosafat Chandradireja, M.Th as Secretary and I Nyoman Ramia as Deputy Secretary along with 12 other religious leaders as members.
