"The reason is, they often force them to ask for money to park inside the Angso Duo Market," he said in Jambi, quoted from Antara, Wednesday, September 21. This thug security action began with community reports through the help of the police who often asked for parking fees twice and forcibly. Although it is Polairud's duty to provide security in water areas, Polairud still pays attention to the area around the Jambi Police Polairud headquarters, which is adjacent to the largest traditional market in Jambi. Therefore, the Jambi Police Ditpolairud immediately checked at Angso Duo Market and it turned out that there was extortion. Then, immediately secured the thugs. "Currently, we have arrested 10 perpetrators, one of whom was caught carrying a badik type of sharp weapon," he also said. The identities of the perpetrators, namely RH, AM, YS, AM, MS, FK, BA, HM, MR, and MR. The thugs who carried out the extortion that was secured were subject to a minor crime (Tipiring), and it will be handed over to the Telanai Pura Police for follow-up. In addition, the Jambi Regional Police Ditpolairud also secured evidence of extortion proceeds and a sharp weapon (badik) from one of the thugs with the initials MR. "For one person who carries a sharp weapon, the Emergency Law is subject to a maximum penalty of 10 years in prison," he also said.
