South Sumatra Police Teach Farming Skills for Retired Personnel

JAKARTA - The South Sumatra Police have provided personnel and civil servants/ASN with farming skills and several other skills. Everything is done so that when you enter retirement you can remain productive and creative.

"To equip these skills, as many as 270 personnel who will enter the retirement preparation period (MPP) are given training", said South Sumatra Police Chief, Inspector General Toni Harmanto, after opening the skills training for Polri and PNS/ASN (State Civil Apparatus) personnel in Palembang, Wednesday, September 21, quoted from Antara.

The Kapolda said that the training, which will last until September 22, could be a provision when retiring. He hopes that all participants take advantage of this opportunity as well as possible.

"This activity is very useful and must be followed seriously so that Polri personnel and civil servants from the South Sumatra Regional Police can start practicing it by utilizing the yard of the house", he said.

Head of the HR Bureau of the South Sumatra Police, Commissioner Ucu Kuspriyadi added that the entrepreneurship skills training is a pre-termination service for PNPP who will retire.

The training activity with the theme 'Towards a Happy and Productive Retirement' was given by a resource person from the South Sumatra Agricultural Center, Dr.Suharyanto SP MP with material on developing superior types of free-range chicken.

Then motivational mindset (mindset) with material 'Ready to retire Happy'' by Alviko Noegroho, business capital loan material for business by Syafiar Mairisyanto, and insurance and pension program services Asabri by Puji Dwi Hartanti.
