The Chairperson Of Commission IV Of The West Java DPRD Has Died Due To COVID-19

JAKARTA - Member of the Regional Representative Council (DPRD) of West Java Province from the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) faction, Nur Supriyanto died of COVID-19.

"Yes, that's right, Pak Nur (Supriyanto) died of COVID-19. He died last night at around 23.00 WIB," said West Java DPRD PKS Faction Chairman Haru Suandharu when contacted by telephone by journalists, reported by Antara, Friday, November 27 .

Haru said that before breathing his last breath, Nur Supriyanto underwent treatment at the Mitra Keluarga Bekasi Hospital.

Haru said that the figure of Nur Supriyanto, who served as Chairman of Commission IV of the West Java DPRD, was one of the best cadres owned by PKS.

"So he is one of the best PKS cadres and has sat as a member of the DPRD since PKS became a participant in the election. And even the deceased has sat in the West Java DPRD four terms," said Haru.

In addition, continued Haru, Nur Supriyanto, who is a legislator from the electoral districts (dapil) of Depok City and Bekasi City, is known as a firm and intelligent figure.

"Then the deceased was also our senior, a figure who was firm, intelligent, and had elegant political communication skills," said Haru.

"On behalf of myself and my institution I am sorry and I hope that the deceased will be accepted by his Islamic faith and placed in the best place in the sight of Allah SWT and the family he has left will be given courage," said Haru.
