Pura-pura Ukur Land Limit, Three People Claimed To Be Public Works Officers At The Curi Jewelry Residents' House

JAKARTA - Claiming to be an officer of the Public Works (PU) for the road widening project, three thieves managed to take away a number of jewelry from inside the house on Jalan Apatu 8, Cilangkap, Cipayung District, East Jakarta, Tuesday, September 20.

Based on the information gathered, the perpetrators managed to trick the victim by saying that he only carried out socialization about road widening and showed the land limit affected by the program.

When the victim came out of his house, one of the perpetrators entered and stole jewelry and other items. After successfully taking the target item, the perpetrator left the victim's house.

The victim only realized when he saw that the house was in disarray and the cupboard was already open. The incident was finally reported by the victim to the Cipayung Police.

Meanwhile, the Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Cipayung Police, Iptu Ibnu Chairul, said that the information obtained from the victim, there were three perpetrators, pretending to visit the victim's house.

"They claim to be PU (public work) officers. Those who lost jewelry and watches, the rest are not yet known," said Ibnu, Tuesday, September 20.
