Polri Pecat Ferdy Sambo, Family Lawyer Brigadier J: Indeed Uninhabitable To Become A Police

JAKARTA - The family lawyer for Brigadier J, Kamaruddin Simanjuntak responded to the National Police's official dismissal of Inspector General Ferdy Sambo as a member of the Bhayangkara Corps.

According to him, the National Police's decision is very appropriate. This is because Ferdy Sambo is considered unfit for law enforcement officers following his involvement in the premeditated murder case of Brigadier J.

"So indeed Ferdy Sambo is not worthy of being a police officer and he is not a general who has a chivalrous attitude," said Kamaruddin when confirmed, Tuesday, September 20.

In fact, Kamaruddin called the former Head of the Propam Division a coward. The reason is that as a result of his actions, many police officers were involved.

In fact, those or members of the police took action that violated the rules because they received orders.

"Why did I say my girlfriend? Because he dragged so many police officers involved, it's a pity for the other police family," he said.

"The general should have a chivalrous attitude, not sacrifice other people, let alone drag his other subordinates, who have nothing to do until they have business," continued Kamaruddin.

Apart from that, Kamaruddin also appreciated the National Police's decision to reject Ferdy Sambo's memorandum of appeal. The National Police is considered to have shown a firm stance on which members made mistakes.

"It's very good or precise. Because the police are protectors, protectors, and public servants, not killers. Moreover, the killing of subordinates is very forbidden, right," said Kamaruddin.

The National Police rejected the appeal from the alleged violator Inspector General Ferdy Sambo. Thus, Sambo was officially dismissed with disrespect (PTDH) in accordance with the verdict during the Police Code of Ethics Commission (KKEP) trial.

The rejection of this appeal also means strengthening or confirming the results of the previous KKEP trial with a PTDH decision.

Inspector General Ferdy Sambo is a suspect in the premeditated murder case of Brigadier Nofriansyah Yosua Hutabarat or Brigadier J. In this case, he is suspected of Article 340 subsidiary Article 338 in conjunction with Article 55 and Article 56 of the Criminal Code which carries a maximum sentence of death or life imprisonment or a maximum of 20 years.

Later, he was also a suspect in the obstructio of juractie. He blocked the investigation into the murder case of Brigadier J.

Thus, Sambo was charged with Article 49 in conjunction with Article 33 and/or Article 48 Paragraph (1) in conjunction with Article 32 Paragraph (1) of the Law on Information and Electronic Transactions (ITE) and Article 221 Paragraph (1) 2nd and/or 233 of the Criminal Code in conjunction with Article 55 of the Criminal Code and or Article 56 of the Criminal Code.
