PLN Make Sure There Is No Elimination Of 450 VA Electricity

JAKARTA - PT PLN (Persero) ensures that there will be no elimination of the customer group with a power of 450 VA and the electricity will also not be increased to 900 VA and there will be no change in the basic electricity tariff.

General Manager of PLN UIW Sulselrabar Moch Andy Adchaminoerdin in Makassar, said as many as 476,688 customers with a power of 450 VA and badminton of South Sulawesi would not be transferred to 900 VA power, in accordance with the government's decision.

"There is no change in power to 900 VA and PLN is ready to carry out decisions from the government and will continue to ensure reliable and optimal electricity services among the community," he said.

Previously, PLN President Director Darmawan Prasodjo revealed that so far, the Government and PLN as implementers of the electricity mandate have never held talks or discussions about changes in public electricity.

The Government's decision is very clear. There is no change in power from 450 VA to 900 VA and PLN is ready to carry out the decision," he said.

In a Working Committee Meeting (Panja) between the DPR's Budget Agency and the Fiscal Policy Agency of the Ministry of Finance on Monday (12 September), there was no formal discussion whatsoever or agenda regarding the transfer of 450 VA electricity to 900 VA.

Darmawan emphasized that PLN continues to coordinate and communicate with the government to protect the public in meeting electricity needs.

PLN ensures that electricity services in the country remain reliable and optimal, so that state-owned companies strive to maintain productivity and people's purchasing power during the economic recovery period amid rising world energy commodity prices.
