Viral! Don't Have Pay Ongos, Drivers For Online Taxi Drivers In North Jakarta

JAKARTA - Viral on social media was the stabbing of an online taxi passenger with the initials CN (45) in the Koja area, North Jakarta. The perpetrator, WR (17), who is an online taxi passenger.

The Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Koja Police, Iptu Yayan Heri, who was confirmed about the stabbing action, also agreed. It is said that the crime of violence occurred on Wednesday, September 14, afternoon.

"Yes, that's right (the stabbing action, ed)," Yayan said when confirmed, Saturday, September 17.

Currently, the perpetrator has been arrested. From the results of the examination, the motive behind the stabbing was because the young man did not have the money to pay for the taxi fare online.

Then, the stabbing action was said to have started when the perpetrator ordered an online taxi from the Cinere area, Depok to Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta.

During the trip there was no suspicious action from the perpetrators. However, upon arrival in Tanjung Priok, the perpetrators instead changed destinations to the Plumpang area.

"Arriving at the Plumpang bus stop near the PLN substation, when the victim stopped, the perpetrator immediately slashed the victim from behind," he said.

Next, the perpetrator immediately got out of the car and fled. Luckily, the stabbing was discovered by local residents and members of the Police who were on patrol.

So, it didn't take long to arrest the perpetrators. He was also taken to the Koja Police Station to account for his actions.

"At that time there were members who were on patrol and were arrested," said Yayan.

For his actions, the perpetrator has now been named a suspect and charged with Article 351 Paragraph 2 of the Criminal Code concerning Persecution. Meanwhile, the victim is still being treated at the Mulyasari Hospital.
