Different Answer Anies When Asked About Preparedness For Presidential Candidate 2024: This Is Only September 16

JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan views that it is not time to talk about nominations in the 2024 presidential election. He reasoned that his term of office as regional head in the new capital city will end on October 16.

This was conveyed by Anies when confirmed regarding his readiness to face the 2024 presidential election. In Singapore some time ago, the former Minister of Education and Culture revealed different things.

"This is only September 16. The position of the Governor of DKI ends on October 16," said Anies when met at Siloam Hospital, Jakarta, Friday, September 16.

Anies when he was in Singapore stated that he was ready to run as a presidential candidate (candidate) in 2024. However, on condition that there is a political party or a combination of political parties interested in carrying it.

"I am ready to run for president if a party nominates me," Anies told Reuters in an interview in Singapore, Thursday, September 15.

Anies also responded to several results of a presidential candidate survey showing that his current electability is among the highest.

"This unsolicited survey happened even before I campaigned, I think they gave me more credibility," said Anies.
