JAKARTA - The House of Representatives' Honorary Court (MKD) has scheduled a summons for members of Commission I of the House of Representatives, Effendi Simbolon, regarding the TNI's remarks such as gangs this afternoon, Thursday, September 16. The MKD also summoned three of its whistleblowers scheduled for 11.00 WIB. In the agenda distributed by the House of Representatives News Bureau, three reporters were summoned by the MKD. Namely individuals on behalf of B. Denny Namang, the Panca Marga Youth Organization, and the Antarctica NGO Organization.

Meanwhile, the defendant Effendy Simbolon is planned for 14.00 WIB. "We called the complainant first in the morning at 11. We summoned two complainants, then in the afternoon we will call Effendi Simbolon," said Deputy Chairman of the DPR MKD Habiburokhman at the Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Wednesday, September 15.

Previously, Effendi Simbolon had apologized to the TNI. He argued, his statement in a working meeting with the Ministry of Defense, TNI and Staff of the TNI did not mean to offend the soldiers and officers. "From the bottom of my heart, I apologize for any words of mine that offend, those that hurt, those who are uncomfortable in the hearts of soldiers wherever they are, ranging from enlisted officers to officers and even parties who are uncomfortable with their words that may be interpreted otherwise. I myself state that I have no intention of stating that it is as it is held in the public," said Effendi during a press conference in the PDIP Faction room at the Nusantara II Building, Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Wednesday, September 15.
