"The Indonesian Army appreciates Twitter Indonesia for helping to recover the Indonesian Army's Twitter account so that it can operate again as usual and has helped secure this account from illegal activities," he said as quoted by Antara.

For now, Hamim said the TNI AD continues to evaluate their cyber security systems.

Thus, he continued, in the future the TNI AD can take preventive measures that are able to minimize cyber attack disturbances from irresponsible parties, both in terms of information systems and social media (medsos) owned by the Indonesian Army.

Previously, the TNI AD's Twitter account was hacked by irresponsible parties showing a lot of tweets containing images ofappropriation.
