JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has confirmed that the investigation into the alleged corruption in the implementation of Formula E in DKI Jakarta is still ongoing. The initial evidence is still ongoing.

"So far, the investigation process is ongoing," Ali Fikri's Head of News told reporters, Tuesday, September 13.

Ali denied the issue of a figure who would be named a suspect in this case. However, he did not specify where the investigation process was.

The reason is that the KPK will not announce the investigation process to the public. A new announcement will be made after the alleged corruption is declared to be investigated.

As previously reported, the anti-corruption commission confirmed that the party was investigating allegations of corruption in the Formula E racing event in DKI Jakarta. There are several parties who have been summoned, one of which is the Governor of DKI Jakarta Anies Baswedan on Wednesday, September 7.

At that time, investigators examined Anies for 11 hours. After being examined, the former Minister of Education and Culture did not want to talk much about holding the international racing event.

At that time, Anies actually discussed the prevention of corruption that had been done. There are various steps, including implementing anti-corruption courses when they were rectors at Paramadina University.

Apart from Anies, a number of parties have also been summoned. One of them, the Chairman of the DKI Jakarta DPRD, Prasetyo Edy Marsudi, who admitted that he explained about the loan of Rp180 billion by the DKI Jakarta Dispora to pay the commitment fee to Formula E Operations (FEO).
