6.142 Police Personnel Enlivened By The Guard Of The Demo Rejecting The Increase In Fuel Prices At Tiga Tiga Tidal Jakarta

JAKARTA - Polda Metro Jaya and his staff deployed 6,142 personnel to oversee the demonstration against the increase in fuel prices (BBM) today, Monday, September 12.

One of the mass groups holding the demonstration was the National Movement for People's Defense (GNPR). The demonstration was called 'Action 1209'.

"There are 6,142 personnel of power," said the Head of Public Relations of the Polda Metro Jaya Kombes E. Zulpan when confirmed, Monday, September 12.

Based on the notification letter received, the demonstration will take place at three points.

The mass estimate of the demonstration is estimated at 2,090 people. The demonstration was also said to be scheduled to take place around 13.00 WIB.

"There are three mass concentrations, namely at the Horse Statue, DPR and DKI Jakarta City Hall," he said.

The government is known to have officially increased the price of fuel oil (BBM) as of Sunday, September 3, at 14.30 WIB.

Pertalite type fuel rose from IDR 7,650 per liter to IDR 10,000 per liter, Solar subsidy rose from IDR 5,150 per liter to IDR 6,800 per liter.

Not only subsidized fuel, the government has also increased the price of non-subsidized fuel, namely Pertamax from Rp. 12,500 per liter to Rp. 14,500 per liter.
