JAKARTA - Deputy Minister of Manpower (Wamenaker) RI Afriansyah Noor supports the digitization of the agricultural sector belonging to young people in Jambi Province which can promote marketing of agricultural products in the area.

This support was shown by the Deputy Minister during his visit to Jambi on Saturday at the launch of the Ciptani application belonging to Jambi's young people engaged in the agricultural sector.

"The Ciptani application is extraordinary, they have good thoughts in the midst of the pandemic," Afriansyah said, quoted by Antara, Sunday.

He emphasized that the Ministry of Manpower fully supports the innovations carried out by young people, especially those related to digitalization.

"I hope that the millennial generation will have innovations, especially the development of digitalization, so that entrepreneurship development will be more creative and innovative," he said.

To support this innovation, he emphasized, the ministry is ready to collaborate with these digitalization innovators.

He said the Ciptani application was related to the agricultural sector to accommodate agricultural products from farmers and cut distribution channels and involve housewives in marketing agricultural products and products online or through partner stalls.

During his visit, the Deputy Minister also provided assistance worth Rp. 5 million to five vegetable traders who had joined as a stall for Ciptani partners.

"This celebration is extraordinary, helping farmers and vegetable traders," he said again.

With the launch of the Ciptani application, according to him, it will provide benefits for increasing people's income and welfare.

CEO, Kribo.id, Reza Nugroho said Ciptani is one of the programs being run by Kribo.id. The Ciptani application is an application for digitizing farmers in Jambi. Currently, this application has only accommodated 300 farmers spread across Jambi City and its surroundings.

"We digitize them, we have a farmer database, when they plant, when to harvest, how much crops are all recorded with this application," he said.

He explained that there have been 53 registered partner stalls and marketed agricultural products from farmers who are members of Ciptani.

"Our target is 250 partner stalls this year," he also said.

This application also provides business capital loans for partner stall traders, worth Rp. 1 million per partner.
