Death Accidents At Wonosobo Kertek Market, 6 People Die

WONOSOBO - A fatal accident occurred at the intersection of Kertek Market, Wonosobo Regency, Central Java, Saturday, September 10 in the morning.

A tourism bus crashed into several cars. Six people reportedly died of this incident.

The unfortunate incident allegedly occurred due to the malfunction of the bus brake.

Based on the report from the Wonosobo Police Traffic Unit, the incident began when the bus was traveling from Temanggung to Wonosobo.

"When driving on the road, it decreased towards the location of the incident, the bus speed was out of control because it was suspected that the brakes were problematic," said Head of Public Relations of the Central Java Police, Kombes Iqbal Alqudusy, as reported by Antara.

The bus carrying 39 people then hit a number of cars that were traveling in the same direction in front of it up to two kilometers.

A number of cars involved in the accident include two Mitsubishi L300, a Toyota Kijang, and one Nissan Livina.

The victims died and were injured in the incident and were then rushed to the Wonosobo Muhammadiyah Hospital.

The accident was further handled by the Wonosobo Police Traffic Unit.
