JAMBI - The Basarnas team helped find a grandmother named Khaminah (75) who fell and then drowned in the swift stream of the Hulu Batang Tebo River, Pauh Agung Village, Bungo Regency, this afternoon around 11.40 WIB. So far, the victim has not been found. The head of the Jambi Basarnas, Kornelis, said that the victim Khaminah was reported to have drowned in the river while washing floating vegetables on the river bank. The family had searched for the person concerned but could not be found. "After receiving the information, the Basarnas team from Bungo immediately went to the scene and so far the victim has not been found," he said, quoted from Antara, Wednesday evening. The team is currently unloading equipment such as personnel trucks, rafting boats, diving equipment, medical equipment, communication and evacuation equipment. Until now, the SAR team is still at the location and continues to conduct sweeps in the river. The recent intensity of rain has made the river's water level rise and residents on the outskirts along the Batang Hari River have to be vigilant, especially those who cannot swim.
