JAKARTA - Thousands of masses from the Labor Party held a demonstration in front of the MPR/DPR Building, Central Jakarta, Tuesday (6/9). The crowd rejected the increase in subsidized fuel prices. In addition to refusing to increase fuel prices, the Labor Party also demanded the government to increase the UMP or UMK and reject the Omnibus Law Law. Said Iqbal, the Chairman of the Labor Party also encouraged the DPR to form a special committee related to the increase in fuel prices.
