PPP Deputy Chairperson Arsul Sani, revealed that Suharso had wanted to resign as general chairman before being replaced by the Acting Chairman of the Ketum, Muhammad Mardiono. Arsul claimed that Suharso's resignation plan was delivered a few days before the inauguration of Mardiono as Acting General Chair was held. Arsul also said that Suharso had conveyed his resignation plan to Mardiono, who is the Chairman of the PPP Advisory Council.
