"There were 2 perpetrators in a Xenia car, one of which came down to take the package in front of elementary school. We arrested them, but resisted. We were forced to paralyze them," said Edy in a written statement, Saturday, September 3.

"The perpetrator in the car fled speeding until he finally stopped after hitting three cars and two residents, and then we took a shot into the car and hit his stomach." he added.

This act of determination also sparked the anger of the residents who then threw stones and wood at the car driven by Wawan.

The perpetrator finally gave up, stopped his car after the officers shot the windshield from the side to injure his stomach. The two perpetrators were immediately taken to the hospital for treatment of gunshot wounds.
