JAKARTA - Commission III of the DPR has asked investigators in the murder case of Brigadier Nopryansah Yosua Hutabarat or Brigadier J to work professionally. This follows the large number of public criticisms of the Police's attitude towards the attitude of the Police because the wife of Inspector General Ferdy Sambo, Putri Candrawati, was not detained even though she had the status of a suspect. Member of Commission III of the DPR RI from the PKB faction, Jazilul Fawaid, also hopes that the National Police can use their authority to detain suspects in criminal acts professionally. "Investigators who have the authority and consideration to detain or not detain suspects. So use that authority professionally, openly, and trusted to uphold justice. After all, there has been a jurisprudence in cases that were almost the same before," Jazilul told reporters, Saturday, September 3. The Deputy Chairperson of the MPR reminded the National Police to maintain public trust because the public's attention is currently on the case of Inspector General Ferdy Sambo. Jazilul assesses that it is now time for the National Police to show their integrity and professionalism. "In my opinion, in this case that is of public concern, it is time for the Police to show their sophistication and professionalism. At the same time, this case is also a bitter pill for the Police to maintain their credibility," said the PKB politician. The member of the Indonesian House of Representatives' Legal Commission hopes that Putri Sambo will not be detained, causing no impression of special treatment. Because, said Jazilul, this actually injures justice for the community. "There should be no impression of indiscriminateness or there is special treatment that can hurt the sense of justice in society," said Jazilul. As is known, Putri Candrawati was not detained even though she had been named a suspect in the case of the death of Brigadier Nopryansah Yosua Hutabarat or Brigadier J. Irjen Ferdy Sambo's wife was not arrested for reasons related to humanity. According to the Head of the General Supervision Inspectorate (Irwasum) of the National Police, Komjen Agung Budi Maryoto, there are three reasons considered by investigators.
