Jokowi To Lampung Shares Assistance For Traders At The Gintung Pasir Market

JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo during a visit to Lampung Province on Saturday, September 3, has distributed a number of aid to traders at Pasir Gintung Market, Bandarlampung City. In addition to the traders, the distribution of the President's aid also targets street vendors in the traditional market. The assistance provided includes working capital assistance and other social assistance aimed at helping the community. Not only that on this occasion, President Jokowi also had the opportunity to greet the people present to shop, pedicab drivers and base motorcycle taxis while distributing t-shirts. A positive response to the visit was said by one of the traders, Sutrisno. "I am very happy to be able to interact with the President and earlier I received a T-shirt directly from him," he said, as reported by Antara. According to him, apart from T-shirts, he also received assistance from the President in the form of Rp 1.2 million in cash. "Yes, he was given an envelope with a value of around Rp. 1.2 million, which will later help with additional trading capital, then get basic necessities as well," he said. The same thing was also said by one of the residents of Bandarlampung, Eva. "Earlier I got photos and t-shirts from the President. I accidentally went shopping, I got it," he said. President Jokowi's presence at Pasir Gintung Market to interact with the community continued with a few conversations with a number of traders, before the number one person in Indonesia continued his journey to Radin Inten II Airport in Lampung.
