JAKARTA - PT TransJakarta has dismantled a coffee shop in the Harmoni Bus Stop, Central Jakarta. Passengers and members of the DKI Jakarta DPRD complained that the bus waiting room was narrow.

"We have agreed to dismantle it," said the Head of the TransJakarta Corporate Secretary, Anang Rizkani Noor at the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs in Jakarta, Friday, September 2, quoted from Antara.

He explained that the demolition was carried out on Thursday, September 1 after it was agreed with the owner of the coffee shop.

He reasoned that the demolition of the coffee shop after receiving input from the public that the existence of the beverage booth was disrupting the flow of passengers.

"The customer's aspirations say that the coffee shop at the Harmoni Bus Stop is disturbing," he said.

The existence of the coffee shop in the last few weeks has received many complaints, especially the users of the mass transportation service who go through the TransJakarta Central Bus Stop.

Some time ago, netizens complained about the condition at the bus stop which was getting denser because of the queue of coffee buyers and the queue of passengers.

So that the path that should have passed by passengers becomes increasingly narrow.

The complaint from the netizen was previously viral on one of the social media accounts on Twitter @infojakarta which featured passengers crammed right in front of the coffee shop.

"Passengers are still pressing, the place is even taken to sell coffee," said the social media account statement.

DKI Jakarta DPRD member Anggara Wicitra Sastroamidjojo also opened his voice by urging PT TransJakarta to immediately dismantle the coffee shop at the Harmoni Bus Stop.

"I can't understand why there was an idea to build a coffee shop there. The Harmoni bus stop is a central bus stop, which is a transit point," said Anggara in Jakarta, Thursday (18/8).
