Kapolda Metro Jaya And Pangdam Jaya Hold Meetings, Discuss Pilkada And Floods

JAKARTA - The Head of Metro Jaya Regional Police Inspector General Fadil Imran and the Military Commander Major General Dudung Abdurachman held a meeting at the Jaya Regional Military Command Headquarters, Monday, November 23. This meeting discussed the handling of problems in Jakarta.

"Kodam Jaya and Polda Metro Jaya in carrying out their future tasks face challenges that are not light," Fadil told reporters, Monday, November 23.

At least, said Fadil, there are two problems that will be faced in the near future, including the issue of regional head elections (Pilkada) and floods. Thus, cooperation between the two institutions is urgently needed.

"For me when the synergy and solidity between TNI-Polri, Kodam Jaya and Polda Metro Jaya are tightened, God willing, our problems can be handled well and resolved properly," he said.

Thus, there needs to be a synergy between the TNI and Polri. "There is a Pilkada and there is a Flood, if we do it alone, it is not possible. We have to be together," he continued.

Moreover, for him the highest law is public safety. In this way, their meeting aims to synchronize all actions that promote the interests of the community.

"The principle is that public safety is the highest law. The two unity and integrity of this nation are the most important things, so we will work together and be solid for these two things," he said.
