Differences In Pre-Reconstruction And Reconstruction And Examples Of Implementation In Criminal Cases

YOGYAKARTA In the investigation, the term pre-reconstruction and reconstruction is known. Both of them did sound the same. However, there is a difference between pre-reconstruction and reconstruction in a criminal case. In fact, both were held in the latest case, namely the shooting of Brigadier J involving Inspector General Ferdy Sambo.

It should be noted that the reconstruction is regulated in the SK of the National Police Chief 1205/2000. The purpose of the reconstruction is to get a clear picture of how the crime is taking place. In addition, the reconstruction aims to test the truth of the information and testimonies from all parties, including the perpetrator and the witness.

Pre-reconstruction was also held at Polda Metro Jaya on Friday, July 22. Pre-reconstruction results were then matched with the actual crime scene which was used as a provision for reconstruction at the house of Inspector General Ferdy Sambo.

The Reconstruction of Brigadier J's own shooting was held on Tuesday, August 30, 2022, in three locations with 78 scenes re-recorded by the suspects, including Inspector General Ferdy Sambo. This information was as stated by the Director of General Crimes at the National Police Criminal Investigation Agency Brigadier General Andi Rian Djajadi.

"Re-recauble activities include events that occurred at Magelang's house, Saguling's house and Duren Tiga's house covering 78 scenes," explained Brigadier General Andi Rian Djajadi to VOI, Tuesday, August 30.
