TANGERANG - Police arrested a man with the initials S (33) on suspicion of assaulting a cafe at Ruko Mardigras, Panongan, Tangerang Regency.

Panongan Polresta Tangerang Police Chief Iptu Syamsul confirmed the incident. The incident took place on Wednesday, July 6.

There are 15 perpetrators who are still on the Wanted List (DPO) status and are being pursued by the police.

"In addition to arresting S, we are still hunting for 15 other suspected perpetrators who have been determined by the DPO," said Syamsul in his statement, Friday, August 26.

Syamsul explained that the incident began when two victims with the initials IS (26) and AS (30) visited the cafe. Shortly thereafter they were reprimanded by S and some of his colleagues for being accused of breaking the bottle.

"Because they felt uncomfortable, the two victims wanted to go home," he said.

After the victim left the cafe, the victim was suddenly attacked by the suspect and his colleagues. As a result, the victim suffered a gunshot wound to the back.

"The victim was taken to the hospital for medical treatment. After that, the victim reported the incident to the Panongan Police," he said.

The police who received the report immediately moved to hunt down the perpetrators until they were finally arrested on Monday, August 22.
