JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan hopes that the settlements around Kota Tua, West Jakarta, will be maintained because it is a historic area.

He gave an example, the residents of Kampung Kunir, which is one of the villages in the Kota Tua area, still exist today.

The concept of Kampung Susun, according to Anies, is to provoke community interaction so that the community becomes more alive. "We thank the team who have designed this place according to the 'setting' of the location," he said.
The location of Kampung Susun is next to the river and there is a fairly large common room. "On the ground floor there is also an interaction room in the lobby," said Anies.
Anies hopes that this residence can be a new hope for the Pinangsia community to get decent housing in the capital city.
